Young children love to count! Children ages 6 and under are invited to our Around the World – Easy as 1, 2, 3 program. Come explore new cultures with stories, songs and crafts that celebrate counting around the world. Activities include painting with water colors, hopscotch, bowling, a parachute game, and so much more!

Are You the Next Grandville Idol?

If you love American Idol then you don’t want to miss the Grandville Idol Talent Show, taking place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 4 at the Grandville branch’s outdoor amphitheatre. Channel your inner Randy Jackson as you watch the best young talent compete for fun and prizes. This is sure to be a great night of entertainment!

If you can sing, dance, tell jokes, or have another special talent, sign up to perform in the show! If you think you’ve got what it takes to impress the audience, stop in the Grandville branch. All talent show participants must pre-register.

Cool Craft Program for Teens at Grandville Public Library

If you like jewelry, crafts, or both, we’ve got a program for you! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to our Steampunk Junque program. Come and create edgy, indie jewelry using materials from the hardware store. Make a keychain, necklace, bracelet, or earrings from these unexpected materials. Let your creative juices flow! Registration is required, so sign up today!

Drums Around the World

Come to the Gary Byker Memorial Library of Hudsonville on July 12, to see drums from around the world as demonstrated by Greg Secor.  The librbary is located at 3338 Van Buren St. The audience will get a chance to play too.
