This past summer, Maggie Hartman (Park 1st grader) decided to set her sights high to help others.

Maggie worked hard all summer growing beautiful Cosmos, Zinnias, and Sunflowers and sold them in bundles at her own "Maggie's Flowers" stand for $1 each. Amazingly, she was able to raise $436! Even more amazing, she has chosen to use the majority of her profits to purchase 28 Christmas presents for families in need this Christmas season.

When asked why she wanted to do this Maggie responded, "I already got a ton of my own, I'm thinking (the kids I help) are going to be happy."
