Gypsy Moth Spraying set for June in Wyoming, MI.

The City of Wyoming, MI, in partnership with Hamilton Helicopters Inc., has announced the 2015 targeted Gypsy Moth suppression spray will take place the first week of June. Rain and wind will play a part in determining exactly when this spraying will take place. Under ideal conditions, spraying should be completed in one day.

Identified areas will be treated with an aerial application of the insecticide Bacillus Thuringiensis or BT. This will only affect the caterpillars and does not affect other non-leaf-eating insects.
