Guys Read Welcomes You

Guys Read Welcomes You

Boys are falling behind girls when it comes to reading. In fact, according to the U.S. Department of Education, boys have scored worse than girls in every age group, every year, for the last 30 years on reading tests. This has prompted KDL to join the national Guys Read initiative by launching our own program here in Kent County. Our goal is simple but ambitious — to help boys become self-motivated, lifelong readers.

Calling All Pokémon Fans!

Calling All Pokémon Fans!

If you are a Pokémon fan, this program is for you! Pokémon Madness will take place at three KDL branches this winter. Children ages 6 and up are invited to learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card game. If they already know how to play, they can bring their cards along for some friendly competition. Kids will also enjoy other crafts and activities involving Pokémon.

Schedule

We have a great collection of Pokémon books, DVDs and more. Check them out today!
