31 houses on display at Fall Parade of Homes | News
HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - It's officially autumn which mean's it's time for the Fall Parade of Homes.
This is the first year the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids and Holland are teaming up for the show. Visitors can tour 31 homes in 17 communities, including 27 new homes and two conceptual homes.
Jerry Nelson of J&J Concepts in Hudsonville says business good in the West Michigan.
"The homes that we're seeing people building right now range anywhere from $200,000 to about $600,000-- it is a real hot market right now. If you look right now, there are people actually starting to put subdivisions back in. And having lots for sale. And homes are going up in multiples on streets."
Developers say wifi and energy efficiency are at the top of the list for home buyers.
The Fall Parade of Homes starts Friday and runs through October 20.
