Hudsonville closes school during illness | News

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) Park Elementary in Hudsonville is closed today because so many students are out sick.

The district closed the school for today after consulting with the Ottawa County Health Department.

The superintendent says 100 students, nearly 25%, were hit with gastrointestinal symptoms.  They say it usually lasts less than a day.

Today cleaning crews are sanitizing the building, and they expect to be back open on Monday.
