Grandville Cabela's sets opening date | News

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - Michigan's third Cabela's store and the first in West Michigan has its opening date.

The Cabela's store in Grandville will officially open its doors at 11:00am on Thursday, March 21st with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The grand opening will be part of a weekend-long event with special guests, family activities, and giveaways.

Cabela's has one store in Dundee, Michigan and is opening another in Saginaw in February.

The 88,000-square-foot Grandville store will be located on the east end of the Rivertown Mall retail corridor in a new 380,000-square-foot retail center. Cabela's expects the store to employ approximately 200 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
