Author & Yogi Christina Sell Visits PeaceLab in Grandville

Author & Yogi Christina Sell Visits PeaceLab in Grandville

Christina Sell is the author of the popular book, Yoga from the Inside Out: Making Peace with Your Body Through Yoga. On February 8, the town of Grandville had a visit from Christina at PeaceLab Yoga at 5570 Wilson Ave. She stayed the entire weekend teaching a workshop that helped bend the mind as well as the body.

How did one of the top yoga teachers in the country make it to Grandville?  Owner of PeaceLab Yoga, Melanie McQuowen, explains, "I came to know of Christina because we were both a part of Anusara Yoga (a style of yoga) for many years.  Her first book was suggested reading for teacher training.  Last year, after she resigned from Anusara, I connected with her on Facebook.  I didn't even have the studio at the time, although I was teaching in the community. I was so excited to have her say yes!  It was a huge blessing to have her here, in our new studio."
